Q: what is the cancellation policy?:

A: in case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundabIe. If the total amount has been paid and your cancellation is within 96 hours before departure than there will be no refund of the other 50%. 

Therefor we highly recommend that you consider purchasing a travel insurance.

Q: What are the payment rules:

A: 50% non-refundable deposit of the total amount will be required at the time of booking. We will send you an invoice with all the details.

The remaining balance of your tour must be received by us at least 2 weeks before departure otherwise we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. 

If booking is made within 2 weeks before departure date the full amount has to be paid at the time of booking.

Booking when holidaying in Dalyan:

You can pay the full amount of your booking in cash within 24 hours at Caretta Pizza Restaurant. Ask for the owners Ahsen or Gerry.

If booking is made 1 day before departure you can pay in cash on board in Turkish Lira only. The exact amount will be calculated via a currency converter on the day of payment.

Q: Are there life jackets?

A. Yes, the Günay 1 is a  passenger vessel.  We have all the required safety gear.

Q: Are there limitations on age?

A. No. Everybody from 0-99 is welcome! If you have questions, please ask us.

Q: Is there equipment for water sports?

A: There is full snorkel and flipper equipment and fishing gear on board. Water-ski, bananaboat and parasailing is available from a third party company cruising around Göcek islands at extra costs.

Q: Is the transfer included in the price?

A: Transfer is only included from Dalyan and Göcek. If you require a transfer from an other destination please ask us for the transfer costs. We can always arrange a transfer for you.

Q: What are the safety measures of the boat ?

A: Our gulet is inspected by the harbour masters every year. The life jackets, fire extinguishers and all technical equipment are checked and only after that authorization the boat is allowed on sea. The upper deck surrounded with hand-rails. For emergencys there is a dinghy with a outboard engine.

Q: Will i experience seasickness?

A: As we sail between the islands of Göcek and as our gulet is made of a special shape it is very rare that you will get seasick.But each guest is different than the other. However if you are concerned about seasickness, please check with your local pharmacist or physician for advice and medication. Please let the crew know as well if you are aware of that you do experience seasickness.  They will do their best to try and make the cruise as comfortable as possible for you.

Q: Are there really no more than 12 people on board?

A: Yes, we accept maximum 12 people on board. This so everyone has their own space and privacy.
